How Salons and Barbershops Use DenAdvisor
QR code at the station or checkout
Put your print-ready QR code on the mirror, the front desk or the card you hand back with change. Clients rate the visit on their own phone, with no app to download.
Feedback right after the appointment
Ask while the cut, color or shave is fresh. Clients tap 1–5 stars, add quick tags and a comment, and every client sees your Google review link.
A punch card that rewards coming back
Give a punch per appointment and a reward at the count you choose, such as a free add-on treatment or a discount on the next service.
Know your regulars
Client profiles build themselves from feedback, punches and redemptions, with visit counts, average rating and segments such as Regular, Loyal and At-risk.
Win back lapsed clients
Send a Win-Back email to clients in your At-risk segment, or a VIP thank-you to your most loyal ones. Every email has one-click unsubscribe.
Stylists and barbers as staff
Invite team members with the Staff or Manager role so they can scan punch cards and redeem coupons for the businesses they are assigned to.
More Reviews, and a Chance to Fix a Bad Cut
Every client gets a one-tap link to review you on Google after their appointment. If a color came out wrong, they can tell you privately so you can make it right.
- Clients who rate 1–3 stars can also send you a private note
- You get an instant alert, so you can follow up and offer a fix
- Say thanks for feedback with a coupon toward their next visit

Loyalty and Coupon Ideas for Salons

The Staff Workflow at Checkout
Client pays and shows their card
The client opens their punch card or coupon on their phone.
Stylist scans it in staff mode
The DenAdvisor app adds a punch, or redeems the coupon. Each coupon code is single-use and verified at the counter.
Client rates the visit
Point them to the QR code at the desk. If they earn a reward, they get a push notification in the app.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I give clients a discount for leaving a Google review?
You can thank customers with a reward when they share feedback through DenAdvisor, and every customer sees your Google review link.
What happens when a client leaves a low rating?
Clients who rate 1–3 stars still see your public review link, and are also offered an optional private form to tell you what went wrong. You are alerted right away, so you can call them and offer to fix the cut or color.
How do punch cards work for appointments?
You choose how many punches earn a reward and what the reward is. At checkout, a team member scans the client’s card in the DenAdvisor app to add a punch. Clients cannot punch their own cards, and you can set a cooldown between punches.
Can each stylist or barber use the scanner?
Yes, on plans that include team members. Staff and managers see only the businesses they are assigned to. The Starter plan is owner-only.
Does DenAdvisor book appointments?
No. DenAdvisor handles feedback, loyalty punch cards, coupons and email campaigns. Keep using your current booking tool for appointments.
